Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 19, 2026
WakePray is built so that your mornings, your voice, and your prayers stay on your phone. This policy describes what the app does and does not do with information.
Your voice never leaves your device
When you say a prayer to turn off the alarm, your speech is transcribed on your device using a bundled speech model. Audio is not recorded to disk, not uploaded, and not shared with us or anyone else. The transcription exists only long enough to check the words against the prayer, then it is discarded.
No accounts, no tracking
- WakePray has no sign-up and no user accounts.
- We do not collect analytics, usage data, or advertising identifiers.
- The app contains no third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
What stays on your phone
Your alarms, chosen prayer packs, completed mornings, and streak are stored locally on your device and nowhere else. Deleting the app deletes them.
Purchases
WakePray Plus subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. We do not receive your name, email address, or payment details. See Apple's privacy policy for how Apple handles purchase data.
Notifications
WakePray uses local notifications to ring your alarms and, if you start a free trial, one reminder before the trial ends. These are scheduled on your device; we run no notification servers.
Microphone permission
The microphone is used only while the prayer screen is open, to hear you say the prayer. You can revoke the permission at any time in iOS Settings; the alarm will still ring, but the say-it-out-loud gate will not be able to hear you.
Children
WakePray does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. There is nothing to collect.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date. Because the app collects nothing, we expect changes to be rare.
