WakePray

Terms of Use

Last updated: August 19, 2026

These terms govern your use of the WakePray app. By using the app you agree to them.

License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use WakePray on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies where these terms are silent.

WakePray Plus

The alarm

WakePray rings through iOS local notifications, which iOS controls. Notifications can be silenced by system settings, permission changes, Low Power conditions, forced restarts, or iOS itself. Do not rely on WakePray as your only alarm for critical obligations such as flights, medication, or medical care. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for missed or delayed alarms.

Content

Scripture wording follows the public-domain World English Bible, lightly adapted for reading aloud; classic prayers included are in the public domain. The app's design, artwork, and software are ours and may not be copied or redistributed.

Acceptable use

Don't reverse engineer the app, resell it, or use it in a way that breaks the law or these terms. We may end the license if the terms are materially breached.

Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version will always be at this address with its date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, excluding its conflict-of-law rules.
